About our Services
Worship is at the heart of all that we do. We offer services for all, reflective,
lively or thought provoking as we seek to learn more about God.
After all our services, there is time for coffee, refreshments and a chance to chat.
All morning services are in the parish church. All 9.30 a.m. services provide activities for children.
8 a.m. Holy Communion
A quiet, traditional service following the Book of Common Prayer. First and third Sundays.
9.30 a.m. Family Worship
An informal service for all ages with children's groups and adult teaching. The children's groups comprise:
- a creche area at the back of the church with ball pond and toys
- Scramblers: children up to and including Year 1 age group
- Climbers: for Years 2 - 3
- Explorers: for Years 4, 5 and 6
- Pathfinders: Year 6 and upwards
Children leave the service before the prayers and sermon and return after the final hymn.
They follow the same topics as
the adults with stories, crafts, games and prayer.
First and third Sundays during term time.
9.30 a.m. Holy Communion
Service of Holy Communion using Common Worship. Children go to their activity group and then
join us for communion or a blessing.
Second and fourth Sundays
9.30 a.m. Morning Worship
A service based on Common Worship Morning Prayer and containing a mix of traditional and contemporary music.
The Barn Church
There are no regular services in the Barn. Please check in the What's On section for the next service.
The Gathering
The gathering aims to provide a relaxed environment in which to go deeper into the
Christian faith and will also offer
a contemporary style of worship. So whether you regularly attend church, or you have never been
before, you will be very welcome.
6.30 p.m. Second Sunday.
Little Fishes
Little Fishes is a short informal service for mothers, babies and toddlers with songs, bible stories and activities. We meet on Fridays at 9.30 a.m. in the parish church during term time. Come and join us. Coffee and refreshments afterwards so you can get to meet other mums and carers with their children.
Join us
You and your family are most welcome to join us for any of our services.
