St Peter & St Paul's Church

We are a lively and welcoming church in the heart of the Surrey Hills, part of the Diocese of Guildford. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to join with us on our journey of faith.

We have seen substantial church growth in Albury - up by 95% in the last five years. Growing churches continually look for ways of connecting people with Jesus Christ, establishing Christian communities and serving those around them.

Our vicar is the Reverend Ken Hobbs.

You and your family are most welcome to join us for any of our services.

  • 8 a.m.- Holy Communion, a quiet, traditional service following the Book of Common Prayer usually on the first and third Sunday.
  • 9.30 a.m. - Family Worship, an informal service for all ages with a creche and four children's groups usually on the first and third Sunday
  • 9.30 a.m. - Holy Communion using Common Worship in Albury usually on the second and fourth Sunday.
  • 6.00 p.m. - Evening worship at St Michael's on the fourth Sunday of the month.
  • 6.30 p.m. - The Gathering, a modern service on the second Sunday of each month at 6.30 p.m.
  • 9.30 a.m. - Little Fishes, a service for babies and toddlers and their carers. Thursday morning in term time.

Coffee is served after all services.

In 1998, Albury became part of the United Benefice of Albury, Chilworth and Shere. The Rector of the United Benefice is Father Charles Lawrence.
