St Peter and St Paul, Albury
Welcome to the parish of Albury with its four churches. The parish church of St Peter and
St Paul which is in the heart of the village, the Barn church, St Michael's in Farley Green, the Saxon Church
in Albury Park and the Catholic Apostolic church at Sherbourne. The Saxon church is now maintained by the
Redundant Churches Fund and the Catholic Apostolic Church is in the Period of Silence awaiting the Second Coming.
In 1998, Albury became part of the United Benefice of Albury, Chilworth and Shere and our fifth church,
St Martha's was incorporated into the parish of Christchurch in Guildford.
Our vicar is the Reverend Ken Hobbs and the Rector of the United Benefice is Father Charles Lawrence.
