Safeguarding
We all have a role to play when it comes to safeguarding
In our Parish it is overseen by our clergy and our safeguarding officer, Sarah Stevens who is contactable on 07971 437174 or safeguarding@alburychurches.org
Policy
The parish of Albury is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. The PCC continue to annually adopt the Church of England ‘Promoting a Safer Church’ as its own safeguarding policy. You can see the full policy here.
The Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA or PSO.
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police on 999 and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
